A vote for Obama is a vote for the end of America. The democratic party are the ones responsible for the financial crisis that is now spreading across the world. So go ahead and vote for Osama.

That's what we said about Bush. And here at the end of his term you can clearly see were damn near proven right.

    Your thoughts on that?

I don't care if you are a Republican (yes Pizza, it's spelled Republican) or a Democrat, these statements are just pure BS. Both parties had a hand in this mess. People need to stop playing the partisan blame game and admit that we have idiots running this country into the ground. It really makes people sound intellectually bankrupt when all you hear them do is blame the other guy and say that their party can do no wrong.

I f we look at the mortgages that have gone bad, a large number of them have some things in common.
    A-Low or no down payment.
in the video bush clearly recognizes that Down payment is required at the time of the taping and this requirement stops a lot of people from buying houses. He also thinks that this down payment is a problem.
Actually having invested in the house in the form of a down payment, would make it harder to walk away from it. A lot of people bought homes as a form of investment in the hope of fliping them. These people took advantage of the no down payment loans. These people are walking away from these houses now without losing much.
b- People signed up for loans that they could not afford.
In this video you can also clearly see him saying that he wants to remove the fine prints. The exact thing that was informing the customer of the pitfalls of the loan. He also talks about taking the apprehension that people had in buying a home. This apprehension as we can now clearly see was a good thing
    c- size of the problem
In the video he clearly suggest that the size of this initiative should be big. he talks about 440 billion at some time. This certainly illustrate that he encouraged an acceleration of investment in these kind of mortgages beyond the speed and amount that they were accustomed to in prior administration
    d-fannie and freddie
he clearly talks about how he has influenced multiple changes that would encourage a less restrictive process. He sets the goal at increasing the number of loans to less qualified buyers at a large scale.
e-a tax credit for builder artificially increased the amount of new home built beyond the market levels.
these changes are the main reason why this problem is so big and uncontrollable. Bush is responsible Just look at the video
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kNqQx7sjoS8
That one will change all the mess that the bush/chaney has created.

What does "democrats oppose" mean? That some oppose all these measure. All oppose all of these measure. All oppose some of these measures. All oppose a majority of these measure or a majority of democrats oppose a majority of these measures?

I'm sure there are democrats that support these things and I'm sure there are Republicans that oppose them. Neither party is a political monolith.

there is a direct relationship between the problems with the mortgage and the bush's program. He explains his plan in the video that i posted. I do not see how a person can look at the video and fail to see this.
we want "that one" to be the president, no not the ugly old one.

Who caused this economic problem? Bush? the Republicans? Or was it the Democrats who praise Frank Rains(The CEO of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae?) as republicans try to warn of a problem?

Some of these things we already have.

    We are already drilling oil.
    We already have nuclear power.
We do have anti-missile defense systems.
We do have a strong military.

a-2004 GOP was in charge of congress. They should have done the same thing as they did with a lot of other issues.
b-freddie and fannie are just part of the problem. the mortgage problem is much more pervasive and universal.
if you looked at the video i presented, you will see how bush influenced both of them to lax their procedure.
