Conservative Republicans must be thrilled that Sarah Palin accomplished the only thing that she was prepped and required to do…not make it worse. She played to the camera, and even interjected a few carefully choreographed cutesy head snaps and winks. It was real cute.

This was not a debate, all they did was give prepared speeches based on prepared questions. I'd like to see them in a real debate, where they have to actually interact and improvise their answers.

It wasn't a real debate, it was each side sounded like a scripted commercial . "Obama plan will do this" "McCains plan is" Not a debate but a live commercial.

I think it was northpoint who said (paraphrased); Palin would literally have to shit her pants for her supporters to say she lost the debate. The benefit of being an incompetent air head is that people have very low expectations of her, Which means she was able have a vice presidential debate and anything other than a humiliating catastrophe is seen as a victory. When i hear people congratulating her on her performance it's almost like they are saying; "HA! Palin didn't literally shit her pants! take that obama supporters!" as if not completely fucking it up is something worthy of praise.
