Custom coded script, great simple design, gettingGlobal

I'm looking to sell my site www.gettingGlobal.com.

You have to visit the site to see what its about. Its almost ready to go, but needs a few things doing:
- The View by Continents page isn't done - this can either be removed or completed - it would need to work whereby when the continent is clicked, a map like the homepage one is shown, but zoomed in on the selected continent. I wouldn't have thought this would be too hard to do.
- Also, the site would probably benefit from some kind of back end (admin panel). Currently it doesn't have one, but if it did, even if it was only simple, it should make running the site easier.

The site is coded well, and you only need to edit one file to change the PayPal email address, so an admin feature is not vital. However, I think the site could do with an instant ordering system being implemented, so the buyer can put in their website details and they will be added automatically to the profile page of the country they bought. But again, this is not vital as it wouldn't take long to add the details manually!

The buyer will get full exclusive rights to the script, so you can either keep it to yourself or sell it. My plan was to sell it but I didn't have the time or money to pay for the completion of the script, so its just been sitting around. I wouldn't want it to go to waste, as its got great potential.

I'm looking for $xxx (three figures) for the site. I don't have an exact figure in mind, but won't be selling for nothing! If I don't receive any offers which I like the look of, I will keep the site to myself and develop the script further when I have the time and money to do so.

 

your site is down - so, check please if you can get it running.
And will you share who developed the site to the buyer?

BTW, I saw your http://www.countryonsale.com/ site
and I think it is the same one as GettingGlobal.com.
So what is the buyer be getting if he will have you selling
exactly the same thing on your site?

The site is working for me - are you sure it isn't working? I just changed the nameservers, so maybe they're still propagating in some countries.
If you can't access the site, maybe try using a proxy?

The gettingGlobal script uses the same concept as CountryOnSale but looks completely different. gettingGlobal has a flash map instead, a slightly better database (as some smaller countries are included) and a 'View by List' feature, which lists all countries alphabetically.

 

The site should now be working for all.

I'm going to put a BIN of $595 on this site. Don't forget its a completely custom script and no-one else has the script. You will also get exclusive rights to it!
