Submit your RSS feeds to these sites to up your links

Would be nice to know which ones are doing that. I have a feeling once you submit your feed to their directory, you may also be giving them permission to syndicate your posts in their entirety. Even Technorati will not republish your post in its entirety, just an excerpt.

This is another reason why lists should be edited.

I've submitted my blog in feedage.com 2 days ago, and my feed has been indexed in google, #4 from 19,000,000 results, I think the most traffic goes to feedage not to my blog... is this the result we are looking for?

 

No, that is not the result you are looking for. Sometimes, some of these feed directories/whatever sometimes will show up higher in the SERPs over your post.

If you are seeing referrals from Feedage, then that is another story. What do your referral counts say about any of these?

 

I've had some good luck writing articles on HubPages that are related to my blog content. You can put RSS feeds to your site right in the article.

I use primarily feedage and technorati rather than a big list as some of the web 2.0 stuff is over rated for backlinks - it helps in the short term but good ol fashioned high quality backlinks is still the way to go - google isn't stupid...

and dodgers advice to create the feed over at feedburner is must do - very effective and very easy to create your feedburner feed.

FYI - Feedburner is now owned by Google. If you have an AdSense account you can now add AdSense to the Google/Feedburner feeds - but don't hold your breath for much revenue.

 

In fact now that FAN is dead (no more CPM ads) I don't run any ads in my feed.
The CTR is really horrible. RSS readers never click on ads. 10 clicks every 50,000 impressions or so

If they provide you with traffic. Then post the numbers now.

Two concepts here. Get your Feed out and spread it all about.

There are no two services that you can ignore, Feedburner and Technorati. They are both owned by Google.

 

im still got no refferal or subscriber from them, but yea I can see now that some traffic are refered by feedage and they provide many features, like feed subscriber counter and feed grading...
now I knew how they work and once again, thx for advice dodger..
