Hi Guys I stumbled on a neat way that got me around 12k of hits in 1 week of blogging (30 posts) to a fresh blog. How I did it was easy and this website outlines it in a detailed simple guide. The design of it looks pretty good, but I'd never enter my email address in something like that. It just looks like you're begging to be spammed if you do.
Interesting site! Though I would recommend for the posting of a few more captions (some tidbit info on what the site is all about) on the homepage, apart from the video. Also, the free tips section seems to compete for attention with the video section. I'd rather have a few content posted on that portion and move the tips/email section to a less conspicuous part of the homepage. When you got a very informative video and interesting content, the reader will most likely sign up to receive more tips.

I agree...totally looks like a spam sign-up. The red text really makes it look suspicious...and the pop-up too...it all makes me nervous.
looks much better now without the red text! I would still think about loosing the pop-up...if people like the video, they'll sign up at the bottom of the page. Why would I sign up for a mailing list to a site I haven't been able to see yet because a pop-up is in my way?
the site looks good simple yet straight forward, but sometimes too straighforward is not good, as it doesn't allow people to get to know the site more maybe more non-video details would be good.
