You can use any bank but i preferr to go through UBL, they are good, as i used them myself.

You said that if you a US$ currency account which means you will have a foriegn currency account in your bank, which is just a blunder, because you can withdraw your funds through your bank account in local currency no need of foreign currency account.
Foreign currency account is blunder because it will need extra aamount to be deposited at the time of opening accuont.

If your account is a foriegn currency then you can withdraw the funds in pakistan in DOllars or the currency which you account is...secondly if your account is local currency account then you will get the funds in PKR, And Keep in mind that

The bank will give you the exchange on the basis of the funds received, means that suppose the funds were received at the bank on wednessday and the exchange rate on wednessday was 76 for US dollar then tey will pay you 76 PKR . dollar even if the exchange rates increased or decreased on the day you withdraw them form your bank.

Hope that helps...If still confused you can post your questions.

You should try MCB Bank for real quick wire transfers.

I won't call foreign currency account a blunder because it has it's advantages. Have you ever tried to send a Wire using your local Currency account? If not then try and you will wish to have a foreign currency account ;)

You can use any bank but i prefer Mezan bank as i myself using it but m not from Mirpur A.K.
You dont need to make US $ account .. just withdraw money in your local currency account and you will get money in PKR and Mezan don't detuct any fees and pay the same rate of that day

Askari bank is good too.If you have your account in Askari Bank then go for it without hesitation and just ask your swift code for your branch.

Swift code is commonly known as BIC (Bank identifier code)..Every branch has its own swift code and if not then they go for the main branch's code .. You can ask your bank about your swift code or search it online too..
