Why Firefox automatically change my default homepage

    I’m hoping you can tell me why all the sudden my homepage
    automatically defaults to http://www.google.co.uk/. It used to
    default to www.google.com. My default page was listed as google.com,
    now it shows “.com.uk” when I change it to “google.com” I receive an
    error. Can you please assist?

    It's very normal. Google redirects it to your default home country url. I'm from India and google redirects google.com to google.co.in for me.

    Agree. And there may not be the fault of firefox, other browser does the same.

    That redirect is normal and if you want to go to google.com, click the link that appears in your .co.uk page

    sometimes my firefox starts from like a fresh install !!!
