Cool Most of the time they actually don't send emails about inclusion. You'll start seeing them as incoming links in your wordpress panel though

Carnivals run around weekly - monthly, so 1-4 times per month is good to get the maximum amount of benefit. That way, your link stays on the front page more often. Weekly is probably best.

More often than that is bad since the carnival owners think you're trying to spam them hehe.

So around one post per week per site + submit to blog carnival + maybe social bookmarking should yield the maximum amount of benefit
