Loget, what's your speed like? If the proxy is slow then people will just go and find a quicker one elsewhere. Also, do you have the site piled with ads? This will put users off as it will look too cluttered. Can we have a link to see more specifically?

I would build up a lot more than 100 uniques as that is not big enough to sample from to draw a proper conclusion. To get a proper idea, I recommend you to have at least 1000 uniques before you draw conclusions about your traffic problems

Keywords give a great indication of traffic a lot more accurate that Alexa just takes a little more time.

Alexa is seriously inaccurate, take this for example I have a blog which is ranked 150k and gets less than 1,000 UV's a day and there is a blog in the same niche which has an alexa rank of 130k which gets over 10,000 UVs a day.

    How accurate is that?

Alexa only counts the amount of people using toolbar.

than to me a lot of people who use proxys use alexa... to me, I find it easy to get a site <100k alexa, no problem.

Shouldnt be any problem if you dont block any countries but if you try with only us,ca and a couple others it wont be as quick as one would think.

I'd like to add my AdBrite code to my PHProxy... when I put this in it doesn't work:
            $_url_form = '<div style="width:100%;margin:0;text-align:center;border-bottom:1px solid #333333;color:#000000;background-color:#F2F2F2;font-size:10px;font-weight:bold;font-family:Bitstream Vera Sans,arial,sans-serif;padding:4px;">'
                            . '<form method="post" action="' . $_script_url . '">'
                            . ' <label for="____' . $_config['url_var_name'] . '"><a href="' . $_url . '">Address</a>:</label> <input id="____' . $_config['url_var_name'] . '" type="text" size="80" name="' . $_config['url_var_name'] . '" value="' . $_url . '" />'
                            . ' <input type="submit" name="go" value="Go" />'
                            . ' [go: <a href="' . $_script_url . '?' . $_config['url_var_name'] . '=' . encode_url($_url_parts['prev_dir']) .' ">up one dir</a>, <a href="' . $_script_base . '">main page</a>]'
                            . '<br />'
                            . '<script type="text/javascript">'
                            . 'var AdBrite_Title_Color = 'CC0000';'
                            . 'var AdBrite_Text_Color = '000000';'
                            . 'var AdBrite_Background_Color = 'F2F2F2';'
                            . 'var AdBrite_Border_Color = '333333';'
                            . 'var AdBrite_URL_Color = '003366';'
                            . 'try{var AdBrite_Iframe=window.top!=window.self?2:1;var AdBrite_Referrer=document.referrer==''?document.location:document.referrer;AdBrite_Referrer=encodeURIComponent(AdBrite_Referrer);}catch(e){var AdBrite_Iframe='';var AdBrite_Referrer='';}'
                            . '</script>'
                            . '<span style="white-space:nowrap;"><script type="text/javascript">document.write(String.fromCharCode(60,83,67,82,73,80,84));document.write(' src="http://ads.adbrite.com/mb/text_group.php?sid=876205&zs=3732385f3930&ifr='+AdBrite_Iframe+'&ref='+AdBrite_Referrer+'" type="text/javascript">');document.write(String.fromCharCode(60,47,83,67,82,73,80,84,62));</script>'
                            . '<a target="_top" href="http://www.adbrite.com/mb/commerce/purchase_form.php?opid=876205&afsid=1"><img src="http://files.adbrite.com/mb/images/adbrite-your-ad-here-leaderboard-w.gif" style="background-color:#333333;border:none;padding:0;margin:0;" alt="Your Ad Here" width="14" height="90" border="0" /></a></span>'
                            . '<br />';
    Code (markup):
I do believe it is because of the multiple ' that are showing up in the AdSense code. How can I fix this?

Hi. Just a quick question: how many proxies do all you guys have in your network, and how much do you spend on advertising them? I want to get a network built that would make around $10 per day, but I'm not sure what balance I should be spending my money. More proxies or more advertising? I'm currently only making an average of around $2 per day and I have 11 sites, but the amount I'm being paid per click has been awful the past few days!

You do something wrong man i got yesterday 11$ and i do have only 2 proxies and 1 proxy list. My average is 5$ Drive some more traffic to your proxies and seo it. You say you have 11 proxy sites i suggest you make at least 1 proxy list site and seo it.

Hmm, I have a network of different subnetworks with the same domains. So I have 5 that are related, then 3 that are related, then all the others are just random. I've advertised the 5 with Myspace Bulletins and submitted them to a few topsites, and the traffic rose, I mean on sunday I got over $5 which I was impressed with, and before then I was getting around $3 per day, but over the last couple of days it's dropped to less than $1 :(

What do you suggest to get more traffic?

    Hmmm
In my eyes, only Mail Blasts help...
That's why I started my mail group, and do now advertised mails for cheap prices too (see sign)
But also addvertise.info and proxysites.ca are doing a great job with bringing traffic...

But if you have lost a lot traffic, your proxy is probably blocked...

Mail as in email? I'll check it out. What about posting to Google and Yahoo groups? I used a google group once and my traffic increased a little bit, but I'm not sure whether the group was responsible for this.

My traffic seems to growing, but my revenue is dropping because my clicks are worth less. The other day I got 8 clicks but only $0.32 :(

That is pretty bad for clicks. Just yesterday I got 15 clicks on one of my sites but only $0.32. On another site however I got 1 click and $0.73.

Yeah, I thought it was because in previous days I've been receiving a bit under $1 per click. On Monday I got an average of $0.04 per click, then yesterday I got $0.67 per click I think.
