Any post that is counter to his beliefs are the ones that he's referring too. ;) To be honest, I put a handful of people on ignore recently and found the entire P/R to now be livable, tame and quite civil. If anyone wants a list, feel free to PM. You'd be surprised just how pleasant P/R can be with the right filtering in affect.

That's filtering of attacks, not opinions btw. There are a lot of differing opinions here that are well worth hearing and worthy of respect. Then there are those that include, physical threats, personal attacks and utter nonsense. IMO, those have no place here.

Back on topic, I have to say I enjoyed the Palin/Biden debate thoroughly. I found her, calm, quick witted and very knowledgable. As for Biden, I'd have to say it is the first time I've heard him sound sober. Though his facts were way off, he came across as well spoken, and confident.

Every poll I saw showed about an 80% to 20% in favor of Palin. I'd have to agree. It was a blow out despite Bidens' sobriety.

No Sir, we are not :)

Some of us have principles and we don't sell them out to whatever suddenly becomes the next popular moment in history.

Sorry to see you get banned. Just read through your posts and they were all very cordial and easy going, as usual. It's a shame that posters like yourself, who are very easy going and follow the rules, get banned, while others STILL go off on their bi-polar tangents almost daily, calling others liars and trolls and other personal attacks just because some don't see the world through their kaleidoscope eyes.

Your advice is well taken. I've put a few on ignore. Not "pretend" ignore, where they can't help replying to every post while claiming the person is on ignore, but real ignore. Not only are the posts here better, but I don't feel like I'm flipping through a police mugshot book every other post either :)

I most certainly hope you are kidding. Given some of the crap that flies around here, I can't imagine anyone running and crying to moderators over *that*

    Were you kidding, then?

The rest of what I have to say, out of respect, Wade, I'll PM. This is not defensible.

You can't use a online pole like that to make a legitimate point, drudge is read by mostly conservatives. You have to be able to read to use that site.

To say Palin "won" would have to be stretching it. I saw a bit more than half of the debate and what I saw I would say it was about a tie, except that Palin had more correct information than Biden. Biden, like a well versed politician, could make his lies seem like facts unless you double checked what he said - kind of like a TV preacher...

If it was a college debate for score, neither did anything substancial. I did like how Palin took control and thought the "moderator for the O" was a bit whiney when she talked about how it went with Palin taking control.

McCain better watch out or Palin might just be calling the shots in the White House as well.

CNN assembled a group of undecideds, and of those like 75%(can't remember if this is correct, but it was a big gap) thought Biden won. I don't know if the sample size was big enough to mean anything(probably not), but the undecideds are really the only people who's opinions matter at this point.

We do seem to have a moderator that came from the ultra-strict forum. I had posts deleted there just because I said I wouldn't do business with any islamic countries because the belief system allows for them to rip me off - take Nigeria for example.

No, I wasn't. I certainly hope the post you pointed out above was not the reason he got banned. I certainly hope someone didn't go crying to the moderators over that. My God, I can't even begin to describe how often I see angry liberals here use opposite sentences like that, "republicans this, GOP that, neocons this and that..." If we're down to that, God help us all.

I didn't see those posts that you mentioned via PM. I remember that Guerilla blasted my son for serving in the military and said some of the most despicable things I could ever imagine. I just blew it off. I heard he apologized to everyone and that's fine.

I'd like to focus on the future!
