24% approval rating, lowest ever CNN just stated. Ranked in 7th when asked who would be best to fix the crisis, Obama on top, congress and administration officials above him. I haven't supported Bush much of all, but damn I would not want to be in his shoes ATM
I don't think Bush is the worst President we have ever had (kind of misleading based on the approval ratings). At the same time, I'm ready to see someone else in there with different ideas and different perceptions about things.
I wouldn't feel that sorry for him mate he's a multi-millionaire who will enjoy his long and healthy retirement playing golf and tennis
I've seen some clips recently of him during his first couple years of office. He sure seems to have aged more than 8 years. I also feel sorry for either Obama or McCain. Honestly, I think I'd just forfeit and let the other guy win because it's going to suck big time for whoever is President.
Obama will make the changes we need, Mccain is same as bush. watch him say just that in my sig mccain/palin=mcpain
Now I know. If you say "go this way" I definetly have to go the other way if I want to be on the right path.
Gotta love the rep I got I'm actually laughing at this. Reason? I'm sure many of you are smart enough to see the writing style, one of the members 'mentioned' is the one who left the rep! Done in such a way no doubt to make it look like he did not do it. 'especially since he logged off right after the time stamp for this rep!' Gotta love pussies who can not sign their names Thanks for the gray BTW
What is it with the rep skills some people have?? The most childish ones come from AGS - he will probably prove that on my next received rep now.... One guy said I was a "retart" - but since his IQ was only 50 he didn't know how to spell.
Are you emailed the Obama talking points? I see Obama more like McCain then I see McCain more like Bush, you have to look at their careers in congress not what they stay on the stump.
He much have the worst timing ever for some of the things he administration had to deal with. Nothing saying he not completely without fault on some issues. Doesn't congress have a lower rating then him?
Gee, for the life of me, because it was such a skilled, commando-style obfuscation, can't figure that one out. I'll make it my Biz to work on it, though.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AY-iTyN7c0A this is a link in my sig look at the new obama campaign representative. He has sold out a long time ago.
Yes, a congress however that can't do much as the dems barely hold a majority. A congress that people wanted the power taken away from Bush so to speak, and simply do not have the power to get it done. Congress is also a bit different as you are polling on it as a whole over that of one individual.
Grim: I agree. I think he spoke well on the bailout issue one time, describing the critical nature of the bailout and the need to get it done. IMHO, his comments in that public appearance were on target. I do think he holds some responsibility on the financial crisis. Not all of it...but definitely a significant percentage. When the crisis kept getting worse and worse, Paulson went to see him and revealed the scope of the bailout ideas. It was obvious the scope of the bailout challenged Conservative perspectives. Bush told him to ignore the politics and just move forward. Mostly I've disagreed with his presidency. IMHO its a shame he used up his political power a long time ago and has little political power or persuasive power to move this thing along a bit faster.
