Well proxified, first of all where does the majority of your traffic come from? 50k China traffic can be achieved within 2 days..So it's possible but then again the qn lies on which countries are they from. If more than 80% come from US, I salute you

 

Would be nice but would be safe to assume it doesnt since he mentioned he bought some larger sites. So they have no doubt been blocked effecting a great deal of us traffic.

 

is there anyone who can tell me abut how to block some traffic from specific country again? (I'm using glype and lxadmin cpanel) thanks in advance.

 

Try using mod_geoip on your server.

 

does anyone know what are the highest traffic proxy topsites about?? the biggest one i can see is alltheproxies.com?? its about 500k alexa

 

I wouldn't go of the alexa rank Ron its highely inaccurate as it only takes in to account people using alexa toolbar.

Try searching in Google and use the ones that come up first or in the top ten for certain keywords relevant to proxy toplists they should be the best ones.

I have none I can recommend though.

Bill I am measuring traffic not keywords.

If there is another way of getting an indication of traffic other than alexa please point me in that direction. alexa gives a pretty good indicator

 

i am surprised that there are not some monster topsites out with sub 100k alexa to be honest.

 

I fine tuned the content of a few of my proxies with regards to visitor psychology yesterday [To show psychologically relevant ads, ones which visitors maybe more interested in.]

There's been a sharp rise in Adsense income. Maybe it's a fluke, so have to wait and see over a period.

 

I started my 8 proxies over a year ago and have pretty much neglected them for the past 6 months, make like 2 bucks a day now (which sucks, because at one point I was making over $30 a day, and to be honest I'm not sure what happened).

Anyway, they all use PHProxy. I hear a lot of talk about Glype on here, is Glype a lot better? What are the advantages? Also, are there many free Glype templates available?

 

Yeah, especially that PHproxy is no longer supported. Lots of free Glype templates are available. Glype is possibly the best script currently from a webmaster's perspective.

 

Glype v1 seems to have some errors, but it says final - meaning i'm guessing it's on its final version too?

 

Well, I haven't seen any errors yet..
Maybe you better report them on the forum.. it will help the maker from Glype

I was just going off what I saw on Glype.com forums about it - I haven't switched over yet due to the errors. It looks really nice though.

 

Im getting annoyed well my proxy got 100+ uniques yesterday and only 4 reterning visitors and today its got 42 unique and 0 returning anybody know what im doing wrong?
