sorry if this issue has been raised..

I am just wondering about the copyright issues by individuals?

I write everything all on my own, of course, where reference is needed, I had to quote and credit to the original source. But I am wondering how to keep my posts from people who like to copy/paste the materials? what is the best way to go??

    any ideas? thanks in advance.

All of your works are copyrighted as soon as they are created in tangible form. You can register your copyright - not through GoDaddy (??), but through the US Copyright Office. Registering your copyright gives you rights to take copyright infringers to court, and you'll have to decide whether that is worth the filing fees. But even without a registered copyright, if your site is scraped (and there's no real way to prevent that from happening) you can file a DMCA notice with the infringer's web host and force him to remove the infringing material.

Get directions how to file a DMCA notice here:

Note that if you are feeling nice, you can try to contact the person who stole your writing and get him to remove the infringing material from his site, but there is no requirement that you do that.
