Matt B I like your design and the fact that you've gone to the trouble of copy the text and menus over from the original site http://www.savoystewart.co.uk/ so that we can see it in situ.

It would be better still if you could add the logo, and possibly some sort of banner design of your choosing (yet fitting for our client) to bring it to life a bit.

I would have appreciated some feedback on my entry. It took me two hours to design it, could the contest owner take 2 minutes to answer my request? It sounds fair

 

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to thank you for taking the time to enter this competition, as my biggest fear was that I'd have to give away the prize despite receiving only one poor entry.

So, I'm pleased to say that there were several designs to choose from, and was planning to announce the winner today, however, I'd tempted not to, due to a technical limitation.

Unfortunately, I hadn't realised that my web and email hosting expired at the end of September, and so was unduly distracted by moving my hosting for the past week or so, hence not offering any feedback sooner. As a result, I'm concerned that my email address still isn't working, due to changing it's MX server settings (seemed a good idea at the time.) :-(

Also, while we do at this stage we do have a winner in mind, as I may not have seen everybody's designs due to my technical problems I would appreciate another couple of days before announcing the winner please, as there weren't that many entries and so I'd keen to ensure that I've seen everybody's designs before we announce the final decision.

I appreciate that this is a slight change of plan, however, for the aforementioned reasons have decided to delay the announcement of the winner until Monday next week (6 October 2008) in order to give us slightly more time.

If you have any questions, I shall do my best to respond to them asap, although, I can offer no guarantees that that will happen in time.

PS The delay is to ensure that we get to see all existing entries, as opposed to allowing time for new ones to be entered (however, seeing as we've had email issues for a couple of days we can't be sure that you haven't already tried to submit your design in time. ;-)
