How To use indian debit card

    Earlier i was using my dad's credit card for making all kinds of online paymets like adwords, paypal etc.
    But now i have got my own International Debit Card from HDFC bank with Visa Logo

    The problem is Adwords and paypal both are declining my card, what is the reason?

    plus is there anyother way by which i can make online payments from India?

    This happens to us Malaysians as well. For example, I have 1
    visa debit card that can be used for all kinds of online transactions
    including paypal payment & withdrawal, but another visa debit card
    (from another issuer) was rejected.

    So my suggestion: try getting another visa debit card.

    Create a virtual credit card using the HDFC account. I think PayPal accepts it. The Virtual credit card is for one-time use only, so your account is safe.

    Indian debit cards do not work with paypal,no matter if its a international debit card or not.

    You cannot use the India debit card to paypal account.Paypal do not accept the India debit card.

    for making payments for adsense u can pay by money tranfer through hdfc,axis,yes etc ...

    Indian debit cards doesn't work .. but i rem someone telling in some other thread that SBI cards works... not sure abt it though

    Thats strange!! Credit card should work ...

    SBI debit is a mastercard maestro branded and might be accepted, not sure.

    No indian debit card is accepted by paypal or adwords. Only credit cards is accepted.

    Debits card sin any other currency other than US$ aren't accepted, as they cannot do transactions in foreign currency.

    On the other hand, credit cards can transact in any currency. SO, they're accepted.

    I think Indian debit card do not work in paypal.For verification you need CC or VCC for that.

    How do we get the four digit verification code (the one which we have to enter in paypal after getting the billing) if we pay by VCC???

    Simply enroll your card in Verified by Visa link located in homepage of your bank site and go on making online payments.
