Paypal stole my money !! I will never use paypal ever again. You will have to return my money in the next life.
I would appreciate that you know you are posting on a public forum. Agitated posts aren't useful at all to anyone and does not cast in in a good light. Why did they close your account? Maybe you will like to share with us more details than just posting something only you will understand?
I'll take this opportunity to complain about the quality of their customer support. The rest is fine so far.
Yeah they don't help much at all. They make up some random BS and when you catch them in a lie, then they hang up on you. WTG PayPal! You know I don't have an @live.co.uk e-mail (I live in the US, not the UK).
I did nothing, they just limited my account and now wants me to submit photo id and proof of address. The problem is I don't have a scanner or fax machine. What I learn today is never keep more than $50 in paypal account.Paypal will get greedy anytime and limited your account and hope that you won't be able to restore it. What I got to do now is take out all my money from another paypal account that I have and pray that paypal will go out of business asap.
That's the problem I hate about them, when you don't have a scanner, or a fax, or even a digital camera, how the hell are you going to put them up online for them to see it? I had that problem myself earlier, so what I had to do is go to like a Fed Ex Kinko's and get all that stuff faxed over.
Try to borrow a scanner or you can go to some of the office services shops that provide faxing services. I don't think that Pay Pal is greedy for that money in your account. Rather they want to ascertain you are who you are. This is actually a measure to provide extra security for Pay Pal users. It is inconvenient but won't it be great when you are using Pay Pal to know that they other party had been verified by Pay Pal?
What I love is if you try to dispute a electronic sale, say for instance the sale of a website and domain they WILL NOT refund you if the seller does not come through as it is not a tangible and they do not cover that. If I can prove that I did not receive what I bought why would they not cover it? My credit card will? I hate them also! Just an FYI...
I don't have time to do anything about it now, I would rather put my time and brain into doing my business instead. But it sucks when I lost money for free like this, I could have bought a good scanner with that money.
Its not actually lost. Call them up and see what they can do. Even if they sound stupid, just continue to be persistient.
Every time I have been scammed by some seller or buyer, and I initiated a complain, I have lost. Once even when I had called them up and convinced them that I am being cheated by somebody, the outcome was same. I have understood one thing, if you have given money using pp to somebody, there are little chances you can get it back. whatever.
It doesn't take much time, you can borrow a scanner rather than buy one. It is your obligations to provide Pay Pal with the information needed. I really do not see what is the gist of the complaint, they are just asking for more information on who they are dealing with.
paypal have cost many people money and in big amount.. if your not happy with them move to another provider
