There is a reason why a government solution will not work. Mainly because once people know that the government is paying for their health insurance than they will not worry about their health and what they eat.

When they know at the end of the month they will be the one facing their health bill they might start putting more carrots on their plate than that lean steak.

 

Never said I was for 'national health care' nor does it appear either of the candidates are claiming to be for it either.

I suggest you look at some graphs showing obesity rates in countries with nationalised health services compared to america. Actually, Scrap that, Just look at some of the disgusting man mountains in america, waddling around with a face full of fried lard and contemplate how you are able to make such an obviously unsupported claim without laughing.

Are you really saying that having no nationalised health care service is encouraging americans to eat healthily and having a nationalised heath service encourages the Norwegians to eat unhealthily?

 

I made a mistake. McCain wants to privatize healthcare. Obama wants to socialize healthcare. BIG difference.

I would go into an argument with you but seeing you come from England where you have national healthcare and people are on month long waiting lists to get the help they deserve. Not only that but Canada which has done the same thing is having so much problems that major operations are not being done there.

Instead citizens are coming to the US for it.
