    Hi there
I am deciding to try my luck at affiliate marketing..........I am just confused about somethings and thought you guys may be able to help

    1. I am thinking to start with ppc-affiliatete marketing (driving trafic from adwords compaigns) do you think its good approach?

    2. What budget should i have to start? and how long should it take to show results (in how many days should i get first sale in your opinion (just in general)?)

    3. For the first compaign (which i will run to test how it works)....how long should i run ? a week .....10 days or what?

    4. What type of products should i promote (having in mind that i won't make any site or anything just will drive trafic from adwords to landing pages) i mean do the products which need shipping etc are as good to promote as which don't?

    5. Any suggestion or sources you would like to recommend for i) PPC-Affiliate marketing ii)setting a good Adwords compaigns iii) Affiliate marketing for begginers

    Many thanks

you need to find a good product to promote. I've promoted a few and haven't got any buys with over 100 clicks. So make sure you find a good product.:)

    1. Really depends if you have money to burn at the beginning. PPC requires a lot of testing before you find something that works. In the process; you will spend hundreds, and thousands in some cases. If your willing to burn some money first, then you will be heavenly rewarded afterwards.

    2. This really depends on how your promoting the offers. If it's via PPC; then a $30 daily budget is the MIN. Your first sale may happen within the next hour, or in one week.

    3. Typically receive 200-300 clicks, and then make a choice to keep the campaign or not.

    4. You are already on the wrong track. Even if you will be promoting offers; in most cases it is vital that you create landing pages for your offers. This will help in pre-selling the product or service.

    5. Just read, and keep on reading. Hold of on the actions until you understand the in's and out's.

As mentioned, PPC can cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars.

I do affiliate marketing and spend very little money. Yes, I don't make thousands and thousands of $$. But I do make some money and my own outlay has been very little. I do it by posting ads and reviews on my blogs.

To start, may I suggest signing up at MoreNiche. I don't care if you decide to promote their products or not. The reason to be a member is the great amount of guides and tools for affiliate marketers available on the site.

If you're just getting started with PPC, I'd recommend going with Facebook or Myspace's advertising platform, as it is much more user friendly. Google, Yahoo, and MSN all offer PPC but it takes a little bit more of an advanced and experienced user to be successful with them. I strongly suggest you get started with Facebook or Myspace.

Also, if you do decide to advertsie on facebook or myspace, pay-per-lead campaigns tend to convert much better than pay-per-sale. You can still make money with pps, but ppl is much easier for a newbie to get into. The 2 networks in my sig have plenty of high converting ppl offers you can get started with.

    Good luck!

Great reply thanks just to make somethings clear
....... Do you think i should not go in ppc way since it requires more money PLUS its risk for newbie? Or u recomend me to read about this field and then try it?

....... When you say 30$ minimum.is it for adwards? what ppc network in your opinion is good to go ?

I can creat landing pages if necessary (if product does not have a killing landing page themselve) so that should not be a problem

No having said that all i have two options and think you can point me to right direction

    1. I should start from promotion affiliates on my blog so i don't loose money (but i am not sure about returns)?

    2. I should read more on ppc-affiliate and then try from there since outcome can be good there?

Please don't get into PPC if you don't know what you are doing? You will get hurt, money wise. Even the so called PPC gurus get hurt at times. Try article marketing or get someone great in building seo site to build a website for you if you have the money.
But if you insist on starting with PPC, then start with Facebook.
