How to change text in an image properly?

    Hi, basic question here.

    Ive been trying to change the text of a couple of images using Paint, and even the trial version of Photoshop without much success. At least not good enough where it comes out looking really good.

    Can any of you explain step-by-step how to properly change the text of an image without making it look noticeable?

    This is among one of some I want to change the text from "Order Now" to "See 5 Starrecipes.com"

    Just duplicate a tiny bit of the background over the old text, and add your new text on top.

    Or get someone on DP to do it for ya :p

    Haha...Obviously I'm a noob at things like this. Can you explain further how you did it? I tried to fill the backround as you said, but it didn't even come close to looking as nice as yours.


    Oh by the way, I feel like a little shit for asking this when you went out of your way doing the first one, but do you think you can do these also? :p


    "Order Now" to "See 5 StarRecipes.com" The "R" in Recipe should be capitalized...sorry about that.

    Great to see so many good people here.

    Its worth getting a copy of Photoshop and you'll be able to do it easily in future.
