I have been watching thesecondweb very closely since it was launched. In the last couple of days, I noticed things slowing down a little. Now I know why. They were suffering a dos attack and also, their server wasn't big enough to handle all the traffic. I read this on the blog: See: Blog (..and click for the blog). Now, I think that thesecondweb is going to become really big. Give it another month and I think it's going to be up near 50k on Alexa or something. I'd take bets on it but that's illegal I think What do you think? Regardless of whether you like the site or personally think it's a good idea, you've got to admit that there's plenty of people that are going to be taking a look. I've been watching Google as well (simply by doing a search for "thesecondweb", and I can see an explosion of talk about it online. This guy must be making a packet!
Always have to expect some idiots to try and ruin good stuff for other people. Shame. At least they took care of it!
