I thought one of the points of the prosecution's case was that he didn't call the cops but took the situation into his own hands.

I did not keep up with the trial but before hand on talk radio they stated he contacted several groups to help him before he went to the room. They also said the person that had his stuff contacted authorities. This may not be true but if it is this is total injustice.

I have been too busy to keep up with OJ.

Whether he called the cops or not, he took matters into his own hands and committed a crime. I think he had previously called the police about these items and was told it was not a police matter. Most people would not decide that authorizes them to commit crimes of their own to get the stuff back. He has plenty of legal counsel and could simply have filed a claim in court.

I don't think anyone is alleging the people in possession of the stuff committed a crime and stole it from OJ. His recourse was in civil court - he did not want to do that because his creditors would have made a claim.

Too bad he didn't have Johnny around to get his ass off the hook this time.

'If they stole his shit, you must acquit.'

    LOL! :D

He played the "black card" to perfection and got away with murder thanks to Johnny. What goes around comes around, I'm not religious at all but I feel that there maybe a God up there somewhere.

I wonder if he'll be given a hard time in jail from the other prisoners? Nonetheless, karma finally caught up with him. Everything has a way of balancing out.

He got what was coming to him. Also, I know in my state (not sure if this is a federal law or not) that if you have your stuff stolen, you can not go in with a gun and get it back. That would be armed robbery, even if it is your stuff. I'm not so sure I totally agree with that, but, it probably prevents violence and encourages people to not take the law into their own hands.

It would not surprise me in the least if this was not a set up by Ron Goldman. That guy has been out for blood for over a decade now. Like putting OJ in jail, or sucking more money out of his celebrity is going to bring his son back.
