Those stats seem to be ridiculous. Google Chrome certainly don't have more share that Firefox, that can't be true. Afterall, it is only in Beta stage.

I've seen 2% for chrome as well. I just checked and my stats are pretty much mirror what you've seen.

Google Chrome browser has expanded tremendously due to Google expanded service, i dont prefer Google Chrome i stick with IE and FireFox.
I my opinion i consider IE to be best as it has won the first browser war.:)

I don't think your data is much reliable, sorry to say this. Google Chrome got long to way to go to catch up with FF and IE.

I cannot believe that Internet Explorer is the most used Web Browser, but i feel chrome cannot take this much share in this early stage

Chrome couldn't have more than 2% share of browser market. Check the blog in statcounter

Chrome has a real share of about 1%. But Google would definitely increase it by putting a permanent ad on their homepage, once a stable version comes out.

Notice in his stats he mentions market share for people switching to a new browser. This just means that a lot of people are now trying Google Chrome compared the people who are just now trying Firefox or whatever other browser.

Google Chrome is a piece of crap that is a long long way from getting that much market share for regular browser use. Firefox is the best browser and they are only behind IE because IE comes with windows.

I'd be more interested to see the stats for the people who downloaded, tried it and haven't used it since.
