FTP client on the web!

    If sometime you wanna FTP, and don't want to download-install-run a FTP client, you can try a web based FTP client, and one of them is BossFTP.

    i think webbased ftp is good although there are security issues often involved unfortunatly

    This sounds very interesting, it reminds me of WebDav.

    Bookmarked this also, you never know...it might be handy.

    I would however enjoy if SSL or some other method of encryption was used (sFTP etc)

    Did you mean FireFTP? I love it, but with a web based ftp client, you can use it with on any browser!

    Yeah,

    I've made an update: now you can send RAW / SITE command(s) to the FTP server. Read more in the Help page.

    Yeah, I've used FileZilla for a long time, but now I use BossFTP :)

    I think it's a good idea to make BossFTP open source, but not now +_*

    Great tool but I wouldn't submit my FTP account details in this way publicly. Try building it in an authoritative way - like buy a decent design + logo.

    I had some problems recently accessing one of my servers.

    So I uploaded phpWebFTP on another server and then FTP through it ;)

    Just be cautious before using public FTP sites.
