How long Should Your Article Be?

How long should an article be to be accepted in the article directories?

Between 400-1000 words long in most cases, with most articles being about 500 - 800 words long. The absolute minimum length in most cases is 350 words.

Avoid going past the 1,000 word mark because then it becomes too long for ezine owners and webmasters to use.

If you have a very long article, it's better to break it down into 2-3 parts and publish each one individually.

    Question:

When you break an article into multiple parts, what do you do with the title? Same title with part 1, part 2, etc. or Same title + short info such as This is my title - A to Z ; This is my title - How to do; This is my title - More info; etc.?

    Thanks for the answer :)

You keep making threads and asking basic questions then answering them yourself. Please stop.

don't make them too long. Make them short enough to get the point accross about what you're trying to say. This is usually around 400 words for me

    300-375. Wait, no, it's 350-425. No, wait, it's....

Forget counting words. That's a bunch of crap.

If the article is good, interesting, it should take the reader no longer than 10 minutes to read.

If you are so so at writing, it should take no longer than 3.

I like to keep my articles short. My max is 500 words so I can submit it to just about any place, but I usually like them to be 300 - 500 words. People don't read much on the internet they tend to just scan (my opinion)

You should go for quality and not length, if you aim for length you might drag it on

    400-600 In my opinion.

Introducing what your talking about and using examples uses a good 100-200 words of it up.
