Are there any craigslist tricks out there that I should be fallowing and not be breaking their rules of posting more than one ad every 48 hours or whatever it is. Is there a way to get tons of traffic from craigslist and also fallowing their rules?

wont get any quality traffic as most of the users are jobseekers who know where to click and which is the spam post

The only thing you could do is post in the like "services offered" section. Nobody looks there anyway...

This may be what you're looking for, Craigslist auto post software: adsoncraigs.com. You can also Google the term, CL Auto Posting Tool.

If you are following their rules then 1 post every 48 hours or something like that, even if you can post more it should only be a few more and in totally different areas etc so you can't spam the same thing again and again or something similar. You are going to have a hard time getting traffic if you do it this way.

One thing craigslist is good for is local businesses looking to advertise local services... people do often look there for that - or local products for sale. real estate also works well.

That's right, it's all about keeping it local. They stress that all over the site, follow the rules and it can still be mined for Traffic. :)

When you post something, don't post the exact same thing or even something relatively close to it in another city. Don't post something just trying to sell an affiliate product. People will flag your post very fast if they can easily tell it is spam. Make your ad clever and market to local people and craigslist is an effective tool to gain some leads and sales.

You can use all sorts of CPA offers to make money from CL.. for example you post there that you've tickets for sale and when they email you, you just send them to your ticket affiliate program and say they can get their tickets there. There's a lot of ways to make money from it, just use some creativity.

I've found a way to use Craigslist to promote affiliate products. It's probably more in the Grey-Hat area and could result in getting banned from craigslist & the affiliate program if you abuse it, but I'm very careful about how much I use it.

Why waste your time on craigslist when you could be writing articles or doing some social bookmarking....craigslist is most likely local classifieds....

I have found that the buy/sell - FREE area in popular cities works well for me. But in order to follow the rules I only post cloaked affiliate links to free trails for shareware or sites. This way what i'm offering actually is free at the time, but if they choose to purchase later, I get paid for the affiliate purchase.
