I have found a great website which is dofollow. But i cant use anchor text. Do you think google values the link without the anchor text?? thx.
Ideally this is a good situation, You should keep diversification in your links, getting 50 links with same anchor is not that natural!
That's right.. dofollow link will pass PR irrespective of anchor text. Try to use relevant text 'around' the link if you can
A link without anchor text, isn't that a invisible link? I think the link is not visible on a page unless it has some thing in anchor text. Correct me if I am wrong
If you take a look at the source, you will find this code <a href="http://forums.digitalpoint.com/" target="_blank">http://forums.digitalpoint.com/</a> Code (markup): I actually am thinking about no anchor text like this [may sound a little funny ] <a href="http://forums.digitalpoint.com/" target="_blank"></a> Code (markup):
Just remember PR is different than SERP. Yes PR is passed, you just won't get any SERP optimization for the key word.
Even without anchor text it has a value as backilnk. But if you need to get your site top position for a specific search term in Search Engines, you need to use anchor text.
That's right. LinkGenie has explained it perfectly. You should go ahead and gain these links. There are going to be many situations where you have no control over the link, but you should dtill acquire it. And as Poseidon also commented, this is a more natural occurrence anyway.
1st...There is no such thing as a dofollow link! Its called a link! 2nd... Yeah anchor text is nothing to do with PR so it will pass, but who cares about pagerank? its pointless. Follow your rankings and revenue and not that stupid toolbar (unless your selling links )
