I might not remember all the names, but the organizations, well they sure get stuck in our memory. The terror emails, the message put across... these things are hard to forget throughout your lifetime.. I agree on the comments made about the politicians.. they use these things as opportunities to fill their pockets.. but what good are we, the general public doing? After all, its us who elect these politicians in the first place, and its us amongst whom these politicians arise from.... isn't it ??

What kind of choice do you have? People who contest in elections are equally crooked. What kind of choice do the people of UP have? Between Mayawati and Mulayam Singh? Both are third rated criminals. And if a common decides to contest against these people, I don't have to tell you what will happen to him.

The best choice we have is Section 49O, which means you can say 'I don't wish to vote for any of these people'. If everyone in an electorate does that, the political party will surely think about putting development first, and votebank politics next. But I know I'm talking in the air. None of these things will happen in the near future. There are tough times ahead.

I understand the frustration. But someone has to do the unthinkable if times are to change.

And I've also heard the rumors that Mayawati is aiming for the PM's post next. God only knows what will happen to India's future if that happens!
