Good service. Almost everyone is providing some kinds of service here. So here the OP is also started a new service. I think, it's not a subject of laughing. OP is taking charges of $1 for uploading/downloading 400 MB. Actually 400 MB bandwidth cost come nearly $10-$12. So, here his calculation is nice. But the main problem is who will use this service. Suppose I've to download Microsoft Visual Express 2008 which is approximately 800 MB. I can't download it because of higher Internet charge approximately $20. Now the OP will download it for only $2. So he is thinking that in this way we (webmasters) can save lots of money and go for using his service. But he forget how he'll sent these software to me ..... by post? NO.... by courier? NO. He must have to sent it through ftp. Now I again need to download it from ftp and at the last I've to pay $20 to my ISP. So, if anyone (Global users) use your service and pay to you of $2 than he/she will need to pay total $2 (to you) + $20 (ISP) = $22. Here he/she is paying $2 more.

So, dear buddy, the first reply that you got is true. We're not against your service. YES, you can provide your service at your local area but It's not for global users.

Anyway, hope you'll get soon any new clients from your local area.

BTW this service may be useful to those who have a website that host files and link to them. (like Arcade game sites, flash sites, MP3 sites)

Im not interested, but I have a video site that could use this service as an example:
You download my videos that are hosted on my site, then upload then to youtube. It saves me time and diskspace. So it is usefull for something

I dunno if this would work or not. But you could make a server on your PC and have him upload direct to your computer

this might save bandwidth charges perhaps also if its warez or something not legal there is no chance of it being traced back to you as its coming from OPS PC to yours
