    Hello everyone.

    I have many pages on my rental properties website. Each property have 4-5 irrelevent pages (irrelevant for organic search). Should I put nofollow tag for that pages. If I put nofollow tag what will happen to that pages ? They will be indexed by Google or not ? What will happen to main property page where nofollow tags will be placed ? Better SERP ?

    Thanks

    On the pages that you do not want indexed, put this code between the 'head' tags.

    <META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX">

    That should stop them from being indexed.

    Your method of putting 'nofollow' into any links pointing to the pages stop SE's following the links and thus indexing them, but it's not the right way to do it since a links from other websites without nofollow may exist at some point.

    Yeah, I know that. But the question is: Is 20 internal dofollow links on my main property page bad for SERP of that page. If I put nofollow what will happen ?

    If they are dofollow and the page that they link to are not specified as 'noindex'. Then your page rank will be spread out more thinly. This could be a bad thing for SERPs
