I watched the video, he never states it was forced down by anything. I will grant you it does lead the mind to believe how he stated it that it was downed because of terrorists, he however does not state it, more of a tricky method. He never used 'shot down' shot down is an outright lie, forced down can be done by weather 'of which it was'.

Perhaps being untruthful isn't an outright lie, but in my eyes, it isn't much better, if any better. Granted, I know you are trying to protect your boy. In reality, I think deep down you know that the truth doesn't reflect what Biden was implying in his story.

Hey, I think Biden is awesome, he says all the things I say behind closed doors publicly. I just read a statement he made 2 years ago, "you cannot go to a 7-Eleven or a Dunkin Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent…I'm not joking." That's awesome. In fairness to Biden, he says dumb things but he doesn't sound like a blathering idiot while saying them. Well except for the "stand up chuck" one, that was pretty dumb, but more like Inspector Clouseau dumb and not guy on the bus dumb. But he was probably drunk, so if you have a problem with his Irish Catholic heritage then that's on you.
