How much traffic you get from directories ?

do you actually get any traffic from directories or not ?

 

yes but not that much unless you buy some real traffic or tell your friends and spread it...

 

most of directories would buy "computer" traffic, but we never use this trick, only real traffic is worth.

 

Don't expect a single visitor from directories.They are just for backlinks and spiders.

 

directories are not for traffic sending policy basically they give backlink to stable your web site and can easily search on search eng and increasing pr for the site ..

 

1-2 clicks a YEAR at best i would say.

 

Next to nothing directly.

 

only webmaster related sites can expect direct traffic from directories.....but u dont list your site in dirs for direct traffic but for seo boost.

 

I only submitted to about ten directories and get around 8 visitors a month from them. They certainly don't increase visitors to your site, in my opinion and I don't think Google values links from directories too highly.

 

Ive had 0 visits so far, But I do get quite a few hits from toplists

 

More then 1.000.000 visitors visit us every month.

I beg to differ. A lot of the traffic that people see from directories, while not necessarily initially from the directory itself directory are derived from search results where the directory listing/entries show up in an SE.

I've had several people tell us over the years that they have seen traffic from our directories. It may not be massive, but it IS traffic none the less.

Its not all about building links and PR... YMMV

 

True. It can't be a coincidence that the second highest keyword referrer (after Blog Directory) from Google is the blog with the most hits in the Directory.

I have never got single hits what so ever from any directory

 

I do not get any traffic from directories. but I got backlinks from Dirs

 

Occasionally I do get visitors from directories, but usually they're pretty targeted directories.

 

Very little traffic that can be ignored.

 

I have one site with 10,000 visitors per month and rarely see any visits from a directory.
