Can I have different account with my bro?

Hi, I am new to this AdSense stuff.

My brother already has one account on google with his paypal account. But we have different hobbies. So I want to know if I can have another account for my self with my own paypal account details? but the thing which makes me unsure is that we are using the same DSL line at home. He works most of the days so I can't use his account or he won't even let me use since there are $$$ in AdSense accounts.

    What can I do?

    Thanks.

I would contact google via telephone or email, inform them of the situation, and see your possible options.

It's doubtful, but you may have better luck by calling them than email.

You can probably do that, but it is a risk. If one of you has his account banned, the other account will probably be banned too, since you come from the same IP and live at the same address. And, of course, you should not click ads on his site and he should not click ads on yours.

There is some discussion on Google Groups:

Just curious...what do you mean by you want a Google Account with your PayPal details? Adsense does not pay earnings to PayPal.

I suggest you do not take the risk of opening two accounts from same IP, instead, first contact and inform adsense support about it, and see what they have to say about this matter.

I have known people who have multiple accounts, use the same browser and use the same address but never been banned. it's the invalid and fraudelent activities that gets you ban.

I have an account with my wife, my bro and my sister friend, but we are living on different places.lol

we all have different sites of interest. Also we never shared sites, one of my client also have all his household have adsense and have no problems with Google, just as long everything is legit nobody's clicking on someones ads for the revenue and everything will be fine

Yep, no problem there. I make a living from adsense, and my wife has an adsense account also. Another relative with an adsense account shares the same address with a different DSL line. So 3 of us at the same address. But it makes me nervous that they will do something to get themselves banned, and take me down with them.
