Shocking example of apathy in the "civilized" world.

Its because were too light on teenagers, they can get away with murder (literally).

Also a lot of young teens who offend and committ criminal offences get an ASBO (Anti Social Behaviour), there meant to stop them offended etc, but a lot of teens who have them are proud to have them, almost as if its a competition to see who can get the most ASBO's.

The teens who shouted for this lad to jump were most likely what we call Chav's.

Chav's think they can run around causing havoc and threatening people but in my opinion anyone doing this should be sent to fight on the front line in Iraq and other places, then we'll see how big they are!

I feel that those egging him on in his suicide attempt should be charge for attempted murder or homicide. Don't they have a heart nowadays?

I was going to say the same thing. I'm sure there is some crime they can be charged with, even if it's not murder or manslaughter.

Blame muslims/Islam. They are getting blamed for almost every other thing happening in the world, why not this one too.

It seems the lens you view everything through is clouding your vision. Might want to get that checked.

That behavior wouldn't surprise me if it happened in L.A., New York, DC, or new Orleans though. Not any different than things that happen in the M.E. either.

It is disgusting beyond everything. To me those who cheered him on then took pictures are no better than a child rapist. Heartless, evil, sick.

Ah, if that were the case, he would have had to have taken other lives too...

haha, wow rhetorical irony is fun! Let me try! :D

Our nation is better off now than it was 8 years ago.

(Editorial Note: for all "Joe six-pack", "hockey-mom", "just like you", "normal Americans" who think those darn liberals are too "cerebral" for them. Rhetorical irony means saying the opposite of what you mean.)

His idioticity costed him his life.

I don't feel bad for him, but for his family.
