Let's say we had a budget of $150. What would you choose to upgrade out of the three choices and why?
The main thing holding my PC back is the CPU, but my ancient mobo can't run anything faster than the CPU that I've already got. And buying more RAM wouldn't make any real performance difference, since it's my CPU that maxes out way before my RAM does. For ME, I'd buy another external HDD.
I'd definately buy RAM to boost up my CPU speed. I don't have that much to store in my pc so no need to spend more on HDD DON.
WAIT Did you buy it as brand PC (Dell, HP) or Did you build it yourself? If you bought it as a brand DON'T UPGRADE. The parts are mostly specifically branded. Meaning if you put a part you bought into the brand computer, the part won't work. But, anyways. Get RAM so the system runs faster, and overclock the CPU.
