Let's list some things that are great inventions and up and coming inventions not yet available to the public.

One thing I am impressed with is the Microwave Oven.
I am not sure which year it was invented but nearly every household uses one to the full. Many take this invention and others for granted.

This thread is for giving praise to great inventions like the Microwave Oven.

So let's hear about the one's you are impressed with.

    Col :)

I'm not sure about that, but the best thing for sliced bread is probably a toaster with butter coming in a close second.

i second that. the internet is the best invention since sliced bread.

so is the telephone, central heating and air, and the advancement in pharmaceuticals.

I could live without the telephone, but not the Internet or air conditioning. I hate hot weather, yet I have lived my whole life in Florida LOL.

Cellphone. Remember those days when they were so big you have to carry on hand wherever you go? Nowadays the size is so small, it can even fit into the pocket.

I don't own a cellphone, so I am not the expert, but some of the ones I've seen could probably fit in your nostril.
