Where is the best place to start to get back links? If possible post some some links, i'm learning about SEO , my site has been up for six months and its not rank, my traffic sucks i'm cluess with SEO but I do read that back links are important. any advice greatly appreciated.
Participate in other bodybuilding related forums that allow you to post a signature do follow link. Find body building blogs and leave useful comments on them. You could also write articles related to body building products (include an affiliate link or two, some article directories will allow it) and reference your site in the bio of the article. Those are 3 easy ways to get backlinks to your site, that is if the site in your sig is yours.
By the way, are all the articles on your site ripped from somewhere else. They sure show up a lot on copyscape. Have good original content so you give someone a reason to link back to your site. At least spin the content you take to make it look somewhat original.

I have started to submit to directories but many ask for a recipricol link what to do I do not wish for a gazillion links shown in my site.

Phaseman, do not check the box that says "Reciprocal Link". Check the box that says something like "Free Link Submission". This way you won't have to add their link to your site.
There are several other ways to get backlinks easily, just a matter if you want to use blackhat or white hat methods in getting them. I would assume white hat since you do not want this site to get banned, but who is to say you could not make other sites that link back to your main site...
Submit sites into major directories having good PR and get list of such directories from internet itself. Be an active members of such forums like DP and place link of your site into signature. Submit genuine comments in good quality blogs with using important anchor text.
what is meta description, I know what description is.
