Can You Put Yahoo Publisher Ads On Adult Sites?

Discussion in 'Publisher Network' started by eniva, Oct 1, 2008.

I have a site that sells adult related stuff ... (not porn though) more like male enhancement stuff.

Anyway, I had google adsense on there for awhile but after a month and some days google contacts me and says that I can not put ads on this site .. here is the email ..

So my question is does yahoo publisher network allow this?

Anyone have any experience or suggestions with this?

Please let me know, thanks in advance!

The answer is no. And you would be wise to pull the adsense quickly before they ban your account.

A similar thing happened to be a while back. Adsense email me with the same email as yours. Mine was an arcade site but there was one game that was questionable so they asked me to remove it. I removed it and no problems since.

    Yahoo is the same.

A big no! Google, MSN, or Yahoo will not allow this. If you want contextual ads try Adbrite.

YPN in India but again not known as YPN. Does Yahoo have problems with its international branding or something?

    https://publisher.yahoo.com/legal/prog_policy.php

This means that if your site page does not have any problematic content, or is linked to any, you SHOULD be able to put the advertisement up. I was advised that I could and if it was causing problems, I would see a notice in my control panel.

Ask your account rep about this just to be safe. :)
