    Blogs suck big time!

I have never made any decent money with blog and it has been about 2yrs since i have started blogging with unique content and i still make peanuts from it. I have made more money with plain page website than with a blog! My blog gets 6k uniques monthly with zero promotion.

Blogs arent that good for making decent money nowdays and they peform worst with adsense! Please share your views.

P.s: Pardon me if i am rude, just i am frustrated with my 2yr effort isnt worth it!

What niche are you blogging in? You may be delivering content that users are interested in, but there may be little to no way to generate revenue out of it. If I blogged about collected soda cans and making statues out of them I am sure people may be interested in it, but how do I generate revenue out of it?

The most successful blogs are necessarily the most enjoyable to write content for, they are the ones that generate users but are also relevant to generate revenue with.

Start something else. There are many other ways to make good money.
You can write reviews for cash.
You can create videos and upload to metacafe.com.
You can also make money with pay per click.

I agree, blogs don't make any money. Just like this:

    http://www.johnchow.com/blog-income-report-september-2008/
$38,000 for September 2008 is pretty low, I don't think I would waste my time

    or

    http://www.shoemoney.com/2008/09/15/what-do-you-consider-a-successful-blog/
$400,000 for all of 2008 is pretty lousy as well.

For that kind of money I wouldn't even mess with a blog, blah.... who needs them.

    ...................................
OK, really. There is money to be made, you just have to go about it right. I mean Shoemoney and JohnChow are just people that started with not making any money on their blogs 2 years ago. How about now? Both on target to hit 400K+ this year. So what can you do? Just emulate them and then improve and do it even better. Hard work is essential. Read my post on Shoemoneys secret sauce to success:
    http://gripmoney.com/according-to-shoemoney-the-secret-sauce-for-making-money-online-is/

Don't quit, today is the perfect day to move forward. :)

Too many sitewide links IMO. Try working on better Ad placement as well. If I were you, I would remove borders, change colors to make them blend in with the content and also float the large rectangle to the left.

Take some risks with it dude, try out some newer layouts, put some ads on the front page, get some backlinks from your forum posts & maybe Yahoo Answers questions about tech. Keep trying new stuff out with it constantly & see what works & what doesn't work. Your site is at a tipping point right now of almost making good profits. Try to get others to review your site too & see what they think.

Your ads are in the wrong spot.

Think about it, when people read your blog, they'll open the post and scroll down to where the content starts, missing your ads (and more importantly, the context on your blog about why they need whatever is in that little ad box).

I would suggest trialling the ads in both the bottom of the post and at a break between the bottom 2/3's.

By the time people get to there, they're sold on the idea and are more likely to pay attention than to skip.
