Best FULLY managed dedicated servers?

I've been looking around for a good hosting solution for a dedicated server. However, I need one that is fully managed, meaning they will fix apache if it fails from overload, upgrade php when needed, etc. Basically, be able to do everything. The only thing I can do is the basic content installations such as wordpress.

    Anyone have any suggestions?

The two best offers that I've found so far are hostgator, and singlehop.

I've looked into some of the more popular solutions such as theplanet and mediatemple, but they don't offer fully managed servers.

I'm needing 2gb of ram and 1500gb of bandwidth.

    Hi R_e_M_i_X

For what it's worth I have 3 dedicated servers with Hostgator and wouldn't go anywhere else. A couple of times I have thought the 'grass was greener' elsewhere but I have never found any company that consistently provides the same level of support for the price. In my view, you can't go past Hostgator!

    Hope this helps.

has really good comparison of dedicated hosting

I personally prefer "superb hosting" and "singlehop"

After hours of extensive comparisons, I've narrowed it down to HostGator and LiquidWeb. Both have great support feedback, and both offer fully managed dedicated servers.

I'm leaning towards LiquidWeb though. From what I can tell, they are cheaper, especially once you start upgrading to the high end hardware. They also have a lot more options for upgrading (the newest and best hardware available if you want it).

Anyone have any negative feedback to add to either of these companies before I make my final decision?

I personally use Hostagor. I have had no serious problems and they have always managed to fix whatever problems I have had.

My advice is to go with liquid web as I have heard better things about them than hostgator, although no personal experience. I have my fully managed server set up by hostdime, haven't had many issues.

I'd suggest to go with Softlayer or Singlehop from past experience, they have very good support.

There are many providers but important thing is that you should look for those who can give you good solutions in reasonable cost.

Be very wary of them, I have a dedicated server with them and for the past 6 days it has been down, I was told it would be fixed by yesterday but it wasn't so I am not too impressed

Well i can't vouch for this. but when i was ordering a hosting account from a
former DP member, my trial account was down since last week.
i was told that the VPS is currently down. and the vps IP points to thevpsguy.

but then again, it's for all of us to find out.
    let's wait and see.
