Another Energy Product - This one pays $66 a sale. & I'm not the owner

    Hi Everyone,

I thought I would post this here. I've been playing in the energy/solar panel market for a few months now.

I've been promoting Home Made Energy and doing very well, but I just noticed a new entry, DIYPowerSystem.com.

No, I'm not the owner, just an affiliate, and I put them as #2 on my review page and have already made several sales.

I don't know if it will work long term though, but they seem to be targeting the high end of the market at $97.

I though I would post here and see what you guys think. Has anyone pushed them hard and had any results?

Interesting, have you bought it yourself? Is it worth the price tag?

    No I haven't bought it.

I don't buy every guide, usually just a few when I get into a market if I can't get them as review copies. I do this more for understanding the market than for evaluating the product. If the product sells and has reasonable refunds, then I promote it. For me its about the bottom line.

I always get a kick out of other affiliates flocking to the top paying guide. Sometimes the top payout is acutally the highest net dollar, sometimes not. You have to take conversion into account to.

Who knows diypower conversion may blow. It seems pretty good to me, but I'm still testing it out. Just thought I would see if anyone else had gotten any results, it seems to be moving up a bit in the marketplace.

The id is affid.diypower.hop.clickbank.net (didn' know if you need the whole thing or just the merchant part)

    thanks for any input.

I'm just guessing, but I think the owner of this product, is the same as http://www.homemadeenergy.org/

The sales page looks similar in structure.

Or maybe someone copied the style of HME

Hmmm, interesting it actually looks very similar. The problem is that when someone sees that a niche or a product is becoming successful they try to jump in with a crappy product.

    lol ...

whenever you start a post with " i'm not the owner" , people will automatically assume that you are the owner ... if you hadn't said that, people would have been a lot less suspicious! it's reverse psychology :D

DIYPowerSystem.com is actually built by me.

I don't know if it will stay at $97, but initially I made this offer for covering that price range.

Right now I will work on the affiliate resources for HME. But after that I promise to get back and develop DIYPowerSystem's affiliate materials as well.

Swerd, you're way off. His title is "Business Development". I'd love to know if these two DP members representing HME are the same person though. Not that it really matters, but it fascinates me how some people feel the need for constant deception around these parts.

I assure you that I'm not the same person with txcapven.

Txcapven is a very good affiliate of HME.

I didn't announced the new offer (DIYPowerSystem.com) myself because I thought to wait for it until I have the affiliate
resources. If you check it out right now I don't even have the affiliate section up.

However, if you want, you can test it out. It converts. It got some sales already. And product is very good (it has 5 distinct components that
are of great interest to people).

Maybe some marketers are not great likeable guys. I mean not everyone is Frank Kern - the super cool guy that you absolutely come to love. In my opinion it's very hard to judge a person only from posts on a forum.

Some guys are the funny guys, some are the analytical guys...

Still, the offer is out... If you have any special requests, I'd love to hear them.

    Good luck with your sales.

So he's not in charge of "Business Development for HomeMadeEnergy.org" as it clearly states in the Home Made Energy Partnership Program welcome letter I received? I guess it's just a coincidence that the Skype ID used by the HME contact is also "txcapven". My bad.

sounds great perfect for a new change of tack!

I have just been promoting another energy product that gave $80 commission per sale and on track to make a nice little packet this winter, then the buggers who own the company slashed the commission down to only $10 yesterday! how gutting is that ;(

I mean $80 down to $10 !!!!! thanks alot guys!!

Gduncan, it seems you are only interested in posting in the "renewable energy" related threads. I mean all 22 posts or so in those kind of threads.

Maybe you're a clone of someone else... Who could you be?... :)

There is a saying "The thief screams <<the thief>>"

Txcapven is a friend. He's also an affiliate with experience and I've asked him to help me improve the relationships with our partners.

If you think this is "wrong", then please don't promote HME or DIYPowerSystem. Let other men or women who want to make more profits do this.

Thank you. I appreciate a positive comment. :)

We will keep 75% commission for sure. Don't worry about our commission dropping.

What I'm thinking is testing the 97 price with other prices. I created this offer initially to cover the $100 space. However, I'm thinking of testing the price (and of course you receiving 75% out of any price point.)

What are your thoughts on this?

I don't have any problem with you or your products (I've sold 3 copies of HME and I still working at it), but I will call you out if I know you're lying to me and I can prove it. In this case, you've admitted that txcapven is working with you, so I'm cool with that. I won't hassle you anymore. Hell, I'll even post something positive if I find that your product(s) convert better than the other products in the niche.
