I think this debate will tell all. She has been critcized for interviews she has done (which admittedly, I haven't had the chance to watch). I do, however, intend on watching this debate to see how she handles the pressure and hopefully the most important questions.
PHP, I intend on watching the debate as well, but in all honesty it takes but a few seconds to see what needs to be seen, in my opinion. I said this earlier. Here - her "answer" to the fiscal crisis alone: http://www.politico.com/blogs/michaelcalderone/0908/Cafferty_to_Blitzer_Dont_make_excuses_for_Palin.html?showall She should never have been chosen. It's an insult to all of us.
Or in the manner of a beauty queen. http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...=hJTjSIfvCaeKqQOtpc37CQ&q=miss+teen+usa&vt=lf
Hahahah - god, that poor girl. And sadly, about right, without exaggeration. Palin's a bit older, so her eyes don't go quite as wide with terror, but she still draws that deer-in-the-headlight blank over the most basic of questions. (Tongue in cheek): Rove is at the heart of it. She's been coached on how to look this stupid, so when the debate comes, having avoided pissing on the floor, she'll be "barracuda."
Why don't you go and watch some of them instead of posting here. Don't you want to know what is it that every one is laughing about.
Pizza: it must be so exhausting being you. How do you find the energy??? You know, it's all great and fine that everyone wants to rip on Palin. What frustrates me is that Obama can make just as bad mistakes and nobody is calling those out. If we are going to nitpick every single thing Palin says, can we at least play fair and call out Obama's as well? Never hear the media jumping on him...I mean he's still touring the wonderful 57 states???? we have, surely he must have said something totally stupid......sheesh.....
Like what? Like he honestly doesn't know there aren't 57 states in the Union? Like he honestly believes an offshore Island 20-some miles away from Russia (an island never visited by the Governor, anyway) constitutes legitimate foreign policy expertise? Or like the answer to the fiscal disaster is: Which are the "just as bad mistakes" committed by Obama as by this utter moron/cured of witch infestations/swell show choir singer, posing as a credible VP candidate? Seriously, what has Obama said that leads one to think he's little more than a janitor, as Biz has stated, or places him in the same brainless category as the VP pick? Bottom line, yes: WHAT THE FUCK? Regarding this VP pick?
I'm at work and unable to access streaming video. In reality, I've heard most of the lines that people are criticizing already, I just don't think they are that big of a deal, or that funny. You want to know what I do find funny though? Asking a disabled guy in a wheelchair to stand up.
She has come off as an idiot. You can blame her and McCain as the cause for this conclusion. She has had the opportunity to give more interviews to combat her image, but she has chosen to hide. Her incoherent to coherent ratio is pretty bad. At this time in our history we can not have more idiots in the WH. SORRY YOU DO NOT SEE THAT
You are here making trying to support some one for the VP that looks like an idiot at this time. Make time to watch the videos. It is pretty important. In the mean time your opinions are baseless. we can wait for you to watch the videos.
I think one of the reasons why people are scrutinizing her more is because most people didn't know her before she was picked, so the whole process of scrutinizing her is condensed into like an 8 week period. Obama's been campaigning for a year and a half. Anyone is bound to make a few verbal mistakes in that time period with microphones and cameras always tuned on them, but as NPT said, most people don't honestly believe that he thinks there are 57 states. But when Palin says something stupid, we don't know if it's an honest mistake or not yet, because we still don't know her.
I could imagine Leslie Neilson delivering that line in one of the Naked Gun movies. stand up for chuck!
we know she is not ready. That is all we need to know to conclude that Mccain picked politics over country. He wanted to be the POTUS so bad that he sold out.
lol, FYI, the VP doesn't shack up with the President in the White House. The VP's residence is the Admiral House. As far as what you said, I still believe I have heard enough of what you guys are referencing. For example, I'm aware of Palin's light-hearted response (taken as serious by the Democrats) when it came to foreign policy experience. I have read the very left-wing bias overview of her response in reference to the bailout. Is there anything else you would like me to know about? Those are the only two that I can think up off the top of my head that seems to be the left-wing talking points for today. What do you think about Biden's blunders? Asking people to crippled people to stand up publicly, criticizing his own campaign ads, and the lies he's told about being shot at in Afghanistan? Lets be honest, Biden doesn't exactly have a good track record when it comes to some of the stuff he has said either.
Totally agree. It's amplified by the fact that not only was she an unknown, and McCain brought her in as a kind of 11th hour surprise, but the ticket has so completely, and wrongfully, sequestered her from any public inquiry afterwards. It is unconscionable, in my opinion, and something never seen in our history.
at his age and right after chaney, thwe VP choice is important. It goes to his judgment also. Biden makes mistakes but she is a mistake
Whether you love or hate Mrs. Palin, you HAVE to watch this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LkUSFZ0xCQg It's basically a borderline vulgar love song dedicated to not only Sarah Palin, but also her two eldest daughters (one of which I think is only like 14). This guy is hilarious (and nuts).
If you think we should abort all female babies, you should just move to China... Does your boyfriend agree with this view?
