Dear DP'ers, This is a special offer from WiredBox.org for our fellow DPer's . WiredBox.org's servers are based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and we have been providing offshore hosting since August '08. As part of the eMonkey Network, we have enough financial backing to ensure that we will not close down any time in the near future. Those who are familiar with WiredBox.org's operations will know that our hosting packages are mostly highly priced as compared to oversellers here at DP, and this is the first time we are coming up with a 'unmetered' plan. We know there is no such thing as unlimited resources, and that most hosts which offer unmetered plans are oversellers and have no plans to stay in the hosting industry for long. We admit that this 'unmetered' plan is overselling but we are sure that we have sufficient resources to cope with the demand. To ensure that clients who sign-up for this plan would be able to have the best possible server resources and speed, only 5 of this plan is available. This package is also not advertised on our website, and is truly exclusive to DP only. -- This offer is only limited to the first 5 clients, and will never be available ever, again. Unmetered (DP Special) # Unmetered Storage # Unmetered Bandwidth # Unlimited Features Special Price: $35/year ($2.90/month) [I AM SMART ENOUGH TO TAKE UP THIS OFFER] . Types of Content Allowed "Warez" linking, "warez" hosting, (AT YOUR OWN RISK!) linking to torrent files off server ("torrent linking"), adult content, image/file hosting; basically anything as long as it is in accordance with The Netherlands' law. Types of Content Disallowed Child pornography, IRC bots, bit torrent tracker/application/client. Please ask if you're unsure. -- Warmest Regards, Jayden Frost WiredBox.org Founder and Administrator (MSN/E-mail) http://wiredbox.org
OMG i want to take one by the way, what happens if youre hard drive / space is nearing to 80% utilization, do you upgrade hard drives? do you own your server? is your server a dedi or VPS? by the way, is this normal shared hosting or reseller? im looking for a reseller though i wish for your prompt reply
So if I'm doing a spam campaign (once again, NO offense or abuse-term content) but it "is in accordance with The Netherlands' law." and I can manually confirm the authority of each post and mail sent out - you'll enable me to get on? I use a proxy script to call my remote server (not BT), it consumes lots of memory and CPU. Thus it does outgoing connections via socks. Allowed?
@sharmaine: If the server is reaching its maximum capacity, we will either purchase a new server or upgrade the existing ones. This is a normal shared hosting account. I think we all know that it is almost impossible to obtain even a normal reseller account at such an extraordinary price. @saradom1n: Yes sorry, starting from Sep. 24, we will close an eye to warez hosting, however please note that this is at your own risk, and we will NOT be held responsible for any consequences arising from your use of the server. @asking: Thanks for hijacking my thread @perlbone: I'm not entirely sure I get your drift, but I guess we could always work things out. Please PM or catch me on MSN, thanks. @machej: No, sorry we do not use cPanel. Our server is installed with LXadmin, a flexible and user-friendly control panel. -- Thank you all for your interest! - Jayden
I think we've sorted this out already, but for the sake of other thread viewers: Normally, proxies are allowed on our shared plans. However in this particular case, I'd have to say no, proxies aren't allowed. Proxies are very resource intensive and I have no wish to ruin WiredBox.org's operations by letting these go wild on an 'unmetered' plan. - Jayden
All accounts have been taken! But no worries, WiredBox.org is currently undergoing a revamp; watch out for new offers! Thread can be closed, thanks mods. - Jayden
No, it doesn't mean that. One can still order hosting via the main site, however, there are currently no on-going offers.
No, sorry. It was over a long time ago. We have an on-going offer, please check out this thread: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1058222 Thanks.
