I lost My ranking

Hi everybody,

I just lost INSTANTLY my rankings !

I was ranking very good for some keywords ... and now nothing !

If I search for my domain name it doesn't appear first !

I've checked site:www.mysite.com .... ok it's indexed

i've checked link:www.mysite.com ... the links are still there like before

I've logged in my webmaster central account :
Googlebot last successfully accessed your home page on Feb 8, 2008.

PS : i'm working now on my website to validate it !

Please tell what could be the issue

 

The site may have been penalised.

 

How old is the site ?

Some newer sites tend to rank well initially for a certain keyword, and are then given the boot by Google.

You could have been penalised too.

If you violate their guidelines openly, you could be inviting trouble.

For example- selling links for PR

Hidden Links and suspicious redirects are two more reasons.

 

hmmmmm.... have you applied some BlackHat strategies with your site?....
