ok i just bought a website where i have lots of wholesale listings and eBay e-books and marketing guides but i need help getting some sales i am also offering a free traffic booster software with the lifetime membership. i need some ideas to make sales please drop some opinions i am a newbie. thank you in advance

Are you prepared to spend money to make it (advertise), or are you looking for free methods, like signatures?
I wasn't trying to push you off or anything like that drkwrld. What I was trying to get across was that IM is huge. There are many different avenues you have available. There are things you should do first before you start the second thing. There are ebooks/reports out there that are several hundred pages long for each step that you need to look at before you can even take the first step. Without a url or knowing what your site has on it, it is really hard to offer a good suggestion of where to start. You have a lot of wholesale listings, according to your post. Of what? Are they all for the same product or is it a site someone through together that sells baby shoes, fishing poles, diet products etc etc.? Some people create a site that has nothing on it except every affiliate program they belong to. They hope someone will find something on their site so they can make a sale. You mentioned you are going for the free route. Basically you are talking about a combination of article marketing, Squidoo, Digg, Web 2.0 stuff etc. But to even do that, you need to have your ducks in a row. You might have to change a page on your site and dedicate it to one product. Then find keywords that are not too competitive. This is what you should do even before you set up a site or landing page. That is what I mean by it isn't something someone can tell you in a forum post. You need to learn the basics about a lot of stuff first. Way too much to post here. Good luck, Zeek

drkwrld - what you need regardless of SOE or anything else is traffic. Everything else you do to optimise your site will only be of benefit if you're already getting traffic. I suggest you read through some of the hundreds of threads on this forum on ways you can start building traffic. You don't have to send any money building traffic to your site, but it may take longer (although the results will last longer). Your best chance of getting sales is from people visiting your site looking for what you are offering. Good luck!

People coming to a site that is advertised about wholesale-Dealers Info are looking for exactly that. They would be people who already knew that they can make a killing on the net and now are looking for wholesale dealers for stock to sell. Actually, I just clicked on your url in the PM. I read the first few lines, skimmed the rest of the site with the big banners and automatically knew that this site has absolutely nothing to offer. If you really bought this site, you got took. Well I generate a lot of free traffic for my free blogs. I get a lot of sales. Try leaving a trace of your business everywhere you go online. Add your site or product to your signature. Post to forums. Don't spam. Form a good answer and respond to other peoples problems.
You should have done some research about the site you bought. And answer questions like: Am i capable of managing this site? What should i do to improve the site? What will i do after buying the site?

The only thing there just talks about making money. What does that have to do with wholesale dealers? The Join Now button takes you straight to Paypal. For what? You haven't told me what you had to offer. If you want people to click on those banners on the right side, you should consider telling us why. What benefit do I get from clicking on anything there? Your site should clearly state what you have to offer. Normally, you would want to word it such that you are telling people how they will benefit from your product. You need a clear call to action. If you want me to click on those banners, you should tell me. I just found that one line that says "I want to learn more about what I get in this incredible offer!" . A "Click Here to learn more about what I get in this incredible offer!" would be a little better. Hope this helps, Zeek
