My spelling is usually pretty good, but I've got a bad habit of adding an apostrophe to "its" when it's already possessive.

    Kerosene...

I am guessing you are good at catching this since you're aware of it. I know of a trick that helpd. I learned NOT to do this when I was in school by replacing "it's" with the phrase "it is". If it doesn't make a rational sentence, then it doesn't need "it's".

Example: "It's hot in here" can be replaced with "It is hot in here".

On the other hand: "The puppy bumped its nose" cannot be replaced with "The puppy bumped it is nose".

One word I really have trouble spelling is "weird". The "ei" messes me up. I had to look it up right now.

eye dun't no whut yu ar taking ubot, i am a grate spellur. In all actuallity I am a pretty decent speller with pretty decent grammer so there are very few words that I misspell. I do have regular difficulties with license and convenience, but as long as I slow down and think about what I am writing I can get through it no problem.
