A question on reseller account transfer

I know how to make backups and to transfer each client account separately, but I am just wondering if it is possible to transfer all customer accounts in WHM at once. You see, if for example I have more than 200 customers (hosting accounts) and wish to switch to another hosting company it will be difficult for me to transfer each account separately, that’s why I am asking this question. Has anyone had reseller account transfer experience? Thanks in advance!

WHMreseller v3 allows you to do that.

for 200 accounts, transferring them all at once will cause too much stress on the server. Sometimes it can even cause downtime. I dont suggest transferring all your 200 accounts all at the same time. You can "chop" them every day so the servers (sending and receiving) wont be so stressed...

    Hey,

If this is from cPanel to cPanel then you use the "Transfer" tool in your menu at WHM.. No need for any extra tools like WHMReseller.

    Thanks,

Yes, both companies provide Cpanel based hosting services. What do you think if I can have any problems when transferring accounts from Cpanel 10 based hosting to Cpanel 11 one?

it should work like norted said. since its cPanel to cPanel then it would work if both companies know how to use it.

    Hello,

Well, from my experience and from what i can read on the cPanel forums. Then it shouldn't give you any spesific problems.

It's the best way to do a hassle free transfer :) Just remember to have your DNS set before you go on ;)

    Thanks,
