well said this has been goin on quite a while now and its the old formula of buy a dropped pr domain, announce free submissions on dp and $5 featured links total joke a dropped pr can be turned round into a good site but the vast majority aren't

Well its your domain you can do with it whatever you please. And here lies the problem. Its not valid pagerank. It belongs to some old site, the domain was then dropped. The chances of that domain still passing pagerank now that it is a directory is close to zero. Look at it from a google quality rater's point of view. If it was a nice directory related domain name, then maybe it dropped and you bought it to use for branding purposes. Can you name a single valid reason (within googles webmasters rules) why you would build a directory on a weird domain name like 7th-hhtconference2007.com/? The domain name has an old date in it and the word conference, even Stevie Wonder could see what is going on here so how do you think you are going to slide this past a google quality rater?

Either way if you don't want to submit to the directory than don't. No one is forcing you to waste your time on it. But everyone is correct it will drop to PR 0 or 1 next time PR is done so right now the juice coming from that link is probably at 0 already.
Are you even reading the replies, or just choosing to ignore them? This site does NOT have valid pagerank. It shows toolbar pagerank, but there is no way its passing any PR benefit.
