what's wrong with my site

my pr3 has been update to pr4, but there's no traffic from google????

The high PR does not mean directly that you will get good SERP and/or traffic from google. You should use other methods to work on the traffic

is correct, PR is not necessarily bring high that many visitors from Google that you have to do is SEO

 

PR can not effect on traffic so no matter what PR you have. I have 0 Pr website but getting good amount of traffic. concentrate on ranking of keyword in search engine rather to get high PR.

 

Page rank and Ranking both are different things there were no connection between them. if you are choose very very low competitive keywords and working well on it then your site will be get good PR but your traffic will be 0. So beer in mind both are different thing if you want to get traffic then search good search able keyword and then target that keyword and start promoting your site on it. Get good bank links use that keyword as a anchor tag and add some articles related to that keyword.

 

so now I have to do a lot of things

you can generate traffic from bookmark site, forums, blog comments, ppc but not PR.

If you accomplished On page factor...then start with Off page i.e. free directory submission, social bookmarking, link building (link exchange), search engine submission, forum submission, article submission, directory of directories submission, tagging, social networking, press releases etc...

 

SEO is a continue proses it's never end so continue your work and implement news things in your work

 

Traffic is different from PR. PR indicates quality of your content and backlinks while traffic indicates your site's visitor attraction power. Although backlinks can contribute to traffic, you still have to create content that stick to make people come back to your site. Focus on getting the people's interest and trust so you can get more traffic.

I dont give much attention to PR..But I give great attention to my SERP result

 

PR is not for traffic that you know. on Page off page both are too much effective... once you finish on page and offpage also go to create blog for your website like yourdomain.com/blog/... there is already wordpress open source is availble... once you integrate it to your website and add daily unique content and submit that post to good social media sites... your traffic definitely increase at the end of month....

 

it is not something that if you got the PR you will get the traffic.

To make life simpler, just focus on getting the traffic. Your PR will come automatically if you have a good, quality website that your users enjoy. They will link back to you in forums for recommendations, and your pagerank will just grow with it.

But if you have a good pagerank, but no traffic, what good is your site?
