Squidoo lenses and page rank

If you have any squidoo lenses, do any of them have a page rank, and if so, what's the highest PR you have for a squidoo lense. I'm curious (I'm a zero's)

 

We built a lens late last year and ignored it. Checked back a month ago and it was PR2.

I decided to build a few more lenses and interlink, then built groups to house the lenses in.

Made sure that each lens had many tags and occupied many groups.

My original page is still PR2 but there was just a toolbar update and one of my groups jumped to PR4, and several pages went to PR3 and PR2.

I'm pretty amazed. Looks to be a great place to build pages that are external, easily spiderable and can achieve stellar PR with minimal effort.

You have to follow the formula for success however, many tags, member of multiple groups, etc. Refreshing content also helps because it increases your ranking in Squidoo which I believe gets you better inbound PR links.

i heard squidoo lens links are now nofollow ?

 

I just created a new lens, and yes it is no follow on the links you add. The RSS feed does not have the no follow tag to it though.

 

I think I had one with PR 2 and have one now with PR 3 I think

 

not true, Squidoo is nofollow till it gets out of WIP (work in progress) status which takes about 24-48 hours after the completion of the lens. sooner if you so some bookmarks on famouse SB sites. once it gets out of WIP status and shows a green check on your dashboard next to the lens, it then becomes dofollow

 

I've seen PageRank as high as 5 on Squidoo lenses...

...but no one really cares about PageRank any more.

 

No it not after approval your lance. You can know it by checking in your dash board a right green sign.

 

They used to be nofollow for a long time, but now when the lens is setup correctly, they are dofollow links.

Once your lens has the green tick in the dashboard it removes the nofollow attribute.

Cool: I didn't think to check the pr on my lenses until I saw this post and one is pr1 and the other is a pr2. the pr2 is approx 2 mos old and the other is about 6 weeks. I am going to update all of them, and check the pr on the other 6. I built them primarily for back links to my site but the better the pr, the better the value of the backlinks.

squeed links are useful in traffic

 

Sounds about right. That's like I said at the top. None of my lenses are showing anything (that I know of anyway).
