Anyone else getting spammed by Authority Directory

    There was nothing intentional in it. It was a script issue - noted as a legit problem and fixed on the same day. Tell me about any other directory that fixes their issues so quickly.

    even if it's auto, someone had to set it up ;)

    I get directory spam all day long, that's why I use crap emails when submitting sites

    Loco - have you never had something on one of your sites go bad and malfuncution? Never had a site go down due to your host?

    It was set to send one reminder email that the listing was expiring five days prior and 1 day prior to expirey. That is disclosed in the terms of service very clearly. The only emails that are ever sent by me are directly related to the listing. ie acceptance or renewal.

    There was an issue with how it determined when to send them that caused the problem. The issue is fixed.

    Now if I did not send emails to expiring listings with a chance to renew there would be complaints of removed listings without notification.

    The issue was verified and corrected on the same day.

    I got the series of emails about 10 days ago and again yesterday... 15 or so in all both times. I figured it was a script error and ignored it.

    if you get any others, be certain to let bruce know, since he had me go in and deactivate everything yesterday night(roughly since 9ish it's been deactivated)
